and US institutions who invest in international real

does AFIRE do?
As an educational and informational forum, AFIRE provides
a place for international real estate professionals
to interact. This is accomplished through a number of
means: by hosting meetings,
publishing newsletters
and a membership directory, maintaining a web site,
among other activities.

AFIRE advertise properties for members?
No. AFIRE does not act as a broker or advisor to its
members.

do I get a list of members?
The membership list is not available to non-members
due to a privacy clause in the Association's by-laws.

can I join?
Membership qualifications
are listed in the Membership
section of this site. All applicants are subject to
approval by the Board of Directors.

are the top investing countries?
Over the years there have been several countries that
have invested heavily in US real estate, including Japan,
The Netherlands, United Kingdom, and Canada. Each year
the US Bureau
of Economic Analysis publishes the amount invested.
