Meetings
Membership meetings are held throughout the year across the United States, Europe and Asia. These meetings are open only to members and invited guests. An Annual Membership Meeting is held in October of each year in Washington, DC. Meeting topics vary depending on the interests of members and events in the marketplace. From time-to-time, AFIRE cooperates with other associations on meetings through co-sponsorships or joint ventures.

Publications
AFIRE publishes the bi-monthly newsletter, AFIRE News, which features articles on real estate investing, market trends, tax and legal issues and other germane topics. The newsletter is available only to members. The annual meeting program is also published in a written, condensed format and distributed to meeting attendees and members.

Directory
Each year AFIRE publishes a directory of its members, which is available only to members. According to the organization's by-laws, the names and addresses of members are confidential and will not be disclosed to non-members.

Research
Since AFIRE works with other organizations, it can provide easy access to research and market reports. AFIRE is the only organization that concentrates on foreign real estate investment and works to develop and maintain information on levels of investment.

Industry Spokesman
AFIRE has earned the reputation of being the voice for international institutional real estate investment throughout the world. The Association is often cited as the authority on global real estate markets. With its annual investor survey, AFIRE presents the attitudes of foreign investors. Coordination with other real estate associations allows AFIRE members to expand their knowledge base.
