(Featuring Bill Himmelstein, CEO, Tenant Advisory Group)
The global pandemic has disrupted our ability to meet in-person with clients, colleagues, and collaborators—but according to Bill Himmelstein of Tenant Advisory Group, this is a beginning for how we can redefine relationships, not the end.
In this new episode of the AFIRE Podcast, host and AFIRE CEO Gunnar Branson sits down with Bill Himmelstein, CEO of Tenant Advisory Group, to share his insights on how to become a partner rather than a vendor. What are the key questions you should ask, and the critical strategies you should take, when building new relationships as we emerge into a new normal?
For many investors, the global pandemic continues to pose a challenge for networking and relationship building. With a new business approach, investors can move away from the traditional “business card networking” model and try new approaches that serve business needs, as well as the bottom line.
William “Bill” Himmelstein graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a BSBA in marketing and management and a minor in psychology. He started Tenant Advisory Group, LLC, in July 2008 after gaining experience at several of the major commercial real estate firms in Chicago.
Bill has been a tenant representative broker for over 20 years, focusing his efforts on professional service firms, technology-based businesses and private practice physicians. He is a designated Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) and a Managing Broker. Bill is also a Founding Board Member of GoCivic Chicago, a Founding Member of Coleman Circle, a member of the Board of Governors for the Mid America Club, a member of the Entrepreneurs Organization, and an APAP Interviewer for Washington University in St. Louis. Bill is often described as being extremely honest. He acts with a high level of integrity, accountability, responsiveness and determination in achieving the best possible deal terms for all of his clients.
In 2017, Bill was named one of The Most Influential Commercial Real Estate Brokers in Chicago by Crain’s. Also, an interview with Bill was recently featured in VoyageChicago.
