Thought leadership at AFIRE is positioned at the critical intersection of real estate market insights, investing, geopolitics, sustainability, research, analytics, and technology.

AFIRE members benefit from access to a global network of real estate market insights, educational resources, and research collaborations designed to improve leadership, industry awareness, and better investing practices.

For nearly 30 years, AFIRE has produced the annual International Investor Survey, which measures sentiment, trends, and capital flows for global institutional investment. The survey is produced in partnership with the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the Wisconsin School of Business. In 2019, AFIRE also formed a new partnership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) to co-produce a quarterly global report to identify up-to-date investment market trends.

The report is a follow up to the AFIRE 2021 International Investor Survey Report, released April 2021, and details evolutions in real estate investor sentiment over the past six months, alongside emergent outlooks for risk management in the US real estate.
