Following AFIRE’s announcement earlier this year claiming three new awards for the association’s Summit Journal, AFIRE is pleased to add two more wins to its growing awards roster, including 2026 Platinum Award from the Hermes Creative Awards, and a Jesse H. Neal Award, both for leadership in association publications.
The addition of these two new awards brings Summit Journal’s accolades to 30 total awards since 2020—a high water mark unmet by any other trade journal focused on commercial real estate or institutional investment.
The new and renewed awards include:
2026 PLATINUM HERMES CREATE AWARD GRAPHIC DESIGN USA AWARD
The Hermes Creative Awards honor the messengers and creators of the information revolution. Armed with their imaginations and computers, Hermes winners bring their ideas to life through traditional and digital platforms. Each year, competition judges evaluate the creative industry’s best publications, branding collateral, websites, videos, and advertising, marketing, and communication programs.
The competition is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
Established in 1995, AMCP is one of the largest and oldest, third-party evaluators of creative work in the world. As part of its mission, AMCP fosters and supports the efforts of creative professionals who contribute their unique talents to public service and charitable endeavors.
This is Summit Journal’s second Hermes Creative Award, following a 2024 Gold Award.
2026 JESSE H. NEAL AWARD
The Jesse H. Neal Awards are the most prestigious editorial honors in the field of specialized journalism. Named after Jesse H. Neal, the first managing director of American Business Media, the Neal Awards were established in 1955 to recognize and reward editorial excellence in business media.
Award-winning content reports on major industry issues of the time. Neal winners have exposed corruption and conflicts of interest and brought attention to major new trends, brilliant leadership, innovative tactics, and key developments in global businesses.
This is Summit Journal’s second nomination in the Jesse H. Neal Awards, following its first from 2023. It joins four other industry publications awarded in the Best Single Issue category.
